Barrande Fellowship Program

The Barrande Fellowship Programme is a joint Czech-French scholarship programme to support the exchange stays of Czech and French doctoral students. It allows them to go on short-term placements and doctoral studies under dual supervision, or a “cotutelle”, in all academic fields.

EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) is a platform for the sharing of professional materials in the field of adult education. It provides information on the calendar of lifelong learning fairs and conferences across the EU and organises numerous expert seminars.


This programme promotes cooperation and mobility in all spheres of education and training, and in relation to sport and young people. It is open to individuals (e.g. students, teachers, and volunteers) and organisations (e.g. schools, youth organisations, and NGOs).

eTwinning supports on-line cooperation between pupils and teachers from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, within Europe and beyond.


EURODESK is the official information network of the Erasmus+ youth programme for young people and youth workers. It has been operating since 2014. Eurodesk manages the European Youth Portal, which contains information and opportunities for young people from all over Europe. It also has a network of regional partners who provide information and organise events directly in the regions of the Czech Republic.


Euroguidance is a European career guidance network initiated by the European Commission. It nurtures European cooperation in career guidance, the innovation and European dimension of guidance systems, exchanges of experience and the development of career guidance.

European Language Label Award

Award granted to exeptional and inovative activities in the field of language education. It is open to all educational organizations.

European Schoolnet

European Schoolnet (EUN), based in Brussels, is a network of 34 European education ministries. European Schoolnet supports the introduction of digital technologies in education, the use of new teaching methods (especially in mathematics and science) and the cooperation of European schools.

European Solidarity Corps

It creates opportunities for young people to help others in need. Withing the programme, young people and youth organizations have the possibility to volunteer, train, work or participate in solidarity projects.

The primary goal is to spread and maintain the Czech language and culture beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.

Studies of foreigners in the CR

Under bilateral international agreements or within the framework of foreign development assistance, university studies and study visits at public universities in the Czech Republic are arranged for foreign nationals.

Study in the Czech Republic

This initiative supports Czech universities’ international activities. It organises fairs and conferences for them, helps them to promote activities online, and holds webinars for those interested in studying in the Czech Republic.

Teachers of European schools

In the European Schools programme, teachers educate the children of staff from EU institutions.
