Programmes are available to organizations and companies engaged in education, science and research, to local authorities, and also to individuals (e.g. students or volunteers). Applicants can obtain financial support for their projects

Networks

DZS is a member of several European networks focusing on school education, volunteering, adult education or career guidance. Their goal is an exchange of experience and information, sharing best practise and encourage establishing contacts.

AKTION Austria - Czech Republic

A scheme to promote bilateral cooperation in science and education between the Czech Republic and Austria in the tertiary sector. It supports both individual and institutional activities.

Barrande Fellowship Programme

The Barrande Fellowship Programme is a joint Czech-French scholarship programme to support the exchange stays of Czech and French doctoral students. It allows them to go on short-term placements and doctoral studies under dual supervision, or a “cotutelle”, in all academic fields.

ECVET is the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training. It increases the quality of mobility and encourages cooperation between schools and companies in our country and abroad.

EEA Grants

The EEA (European Economic Area) Grants are used to support study visits and project cooperation with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

English teachers

The programme assists ESL teachers from abroad in looking for teaching posts at Czech public high schools and primary schools with extended language teaching.

EPALE

EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) is a platform for the sharing of professional materials in the field of adult education. It provides information on the calendar of lifelong learning fairs and conferences across the EU and organises numerous expert seminars.

Erasmus+

This programme promotes cooperation and mobility in all spheres of education and training, and in relation to sport and young people. It is open to individuals (e.g. students, teachers, and volunteers) and organisations (e.g. schools, youth organisations, and NGOs).

eTwinning

eTwinning supports online cooperation between pupils and teachers from nursery, primary and secondary schools, within Europe and beyond.

Eurodesk

EURODESK is the official information network of the Erasmus+ youth programme for young people and youth workers. It has been operating since 2014. Eurodesk manages the European Youth Portal, which contains information and opportunities for young people from all over Europe. It also has a network of regional partners who provide information and organise events directly in the regions of the Czech Republic.

European Language Label Award

An award granted to exceptional and innovative activities in the field of language education. It is open to all educational organisations.

European Schoolnet

European Schoolnet (EUN), based in Brussels, is a network of 34 European education ministries. European Schoolnet supports the introduction of digital technologies in education, the use of new teaching methods (especially in mathematics and science) and the cooperation of European schools.

European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps creates opportunities for young people to help others in need. The programme gives young people and youth organisations the opportunity to volunteer, train, work or participate in solidarity projects.

Programme for the Support of Czech Cultural Heritage Abroad

The primary goal is to spread and maintain the Czech language and culture beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.

We promote Czech higher education abroad and support international activities of Czech universities.

Study Opportunities for Foreigners in the CR

Foreign nationals can study at Czech public universities under bilateral international agreements or within the framework of foreign development assistance.

Teachers of European schools

The European Schools programme is the programme for the education of the children of staff from EU institutions.
