Info day - Quality Label for Humanitarian Aid Volunteering

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is organizing an information day on Friday, September 9 for those interested in the Quality Label within the European Solidarity Corps programme - Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. These projects aim to contribute to the delivery of humanitarian assistance that focuses on saving life, preventing and alleviating human suffering, preserving human dignity and strengthening the capacity and resilience of vulnerable or disaster-affected communities. Humanitarian Aid Volunteering projects are applied for directly to the EACEA in Brussels (so-called centralized activities).

Obtaining the Quality Label is a mandatory precondition for all organizations that want to participate in these projects. The Quality Label confirms that the organization is able to implement high-quality projects in accordance with the objectives and aims of the European solidarity corps Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. Organizations holding the Quality Label can subsequently apply for a specific project in individual forthcoming calls. Organizations that want to apply for a project next year (that is, in the call 2023) must apply for the Quality Label no later than September 22, 2022 through the FTOP portal.

During the online information day, participants will be introduced to the basic criteria and conditions of the Quality Label application and will also have the opportunity to ask questions. The information day will take place via MS Teams platform and participants need to register for it by September 1.

More information about these projects can be found on the DZS website and in the European Solidarity Corps Programme Guide. More information about the info day can be found on the EACEA website.
