The YPI is recognised by international and European stakeholders as the most comprehensive global measure of youth quality of life

The Youth Progress Index (YPI) is published twice a year by the European Youth Forum in cooperation with the non-profit organisation Social Progress Imperative. It has been published since 2018, and the data assessed from 150 countries includes over sixty social and environmental indicators. The YPI thus provides not only an overview of the quality of life and well-being of young people around the world, but also specific key aspects that need to be addressed and improved.

The tool provides policy makers, public authorities, civil society organisations, businesses, the research community, as well as young activists with the knowledge needed to design strategies and implement programmes that lead to building more sustainable, inclusive and equitable societies and to remove barriers to young people's wellbeing.

The European Youth Forum is currently working on the 3rd edition of the YPI and in this context has put together a short questionnaire that will allow a creation of more engaging version that will be tailored to the needs of its users. Answering the survey you can also test the beta version of the new dashboard that allows you to visualise your Country’s result over time and compare it with other peer countries.

The questionnaire is available online. More information about this tool can be found on the Youth Progress Index website.
