Director of Czech National Agency for International Education Dana Petrova Becomes Vice-President of Academic Cooperation Association
Dana Petrova was elected the Vice-President of the Academic Cooperation Association for the period of 2020 to 2023.
The director of the Czech National Agency for International Education (DZS), Dana Petrova, has been elected Vice-President of the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) in a vote by its General Assembly yesterday. The new Vice-President will serve for three years until 2023, effective immediately. ACA promotes internationalization and innovation of higher education in Europe and advocates for the interests and needs of its members in this area.
The Vice-President along with the ACA President and the ACA Director manage the association. The Vice-President is also a member of the Administrative Council which prepares the decisions of the General Assembly and oversees their implementation.
ACA is an international association comprising of national-level organisations responsible for internationalisation of higher education. It currently has 15 members. The priorities of the ACA administration in the coming years will be to further modernize the association and to connect to and meet the needs of the ACA members and to enhance the impact and visibility of its activities.
DZS has been an ACA member since 2014.
