Workshop on International Climate Change Issues

An informal workshop of the Working Party on International Environmental Issues of Climate Change (WPIEI-CC) will be held in Limassol, Cyprus, from January 26 to 28, 2026, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment of Cyprus. The event will focus on preparing the European Union's position on international climate issues in the context of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), with a view to the upcoming inter-sessional negotiations in Bonn and the Conference of the Parties (COP). The workshop will provide an informal space for exchanging views on key negotiating topics, current developments, and EU priorities in international climate negotiations.
