Resilience of Health Systems for an Ageing EU Population workshop

On 10 December 2025, an online workshop titled “Science–for–Policy Dialogue: Resilient Health Systems for an Ageing EU Population” will take place under the Knowledge4Policy initiative. The event will focus on the challenges faced by EU health systems in the context of an ageing population, including shortages in the healthcare workforce, skill needs and the sustainability of care provision. 

The workshop will provide space for knowledge sharing among experts and policymakers at regional, national and EU level. Participants will discuss strategies to strengthen the resilience of health and long–term care systems and explore ways to improve the connection between scientific evidence and policy–making.
