Pathways to a Trans-European Nature Network (TEN-N)

On 22 September 2026, the final stakeholder event of the NaturaConnect project, entitled Pathways to a Trans-European Nature Network (TEN-N), will take place in Brussels. Funded by the Horizon Europe programme, the project focuses on creating a resilient and interconnected Trans-European Nature Network (TEN-N). During the event, it will present its main scientific outputs, decision-support tools, datasets and recommendations for expanding protected areas, restoring nature and strengthening ecological connectivity. The discussion will also focus on how the project’s results can support the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and the EU Nature Restoration Regulation, as well as on opportunities for their long-term use in European and national nature conservation policies.
