Kick-off of New GenAI Pilots for Public Administration and Apply AI Stakeholder Meeting

On 14 September 2026, the online event Kick-off of new GenAI pilots for public administration & Apply AI stakeholder meeting will take place, during which the European Commission will present three new pilot projects focused on the use of generative artificial intelligence in public administration. The projects FLOODS & DROUGHTS, EUNOMIA.AI and EuropAI, funded under the Digital Europe Programme, aim to support public administrations in developing, procuring, testing and deploying trustworthy European GenAI solutions for concrete public-service needs. The project presentations will be followed by an Apply AI stakeholder meeting focusing on the transition from experimentation to practical AI deployment, public procurement and technological sovereignty, the role of startups and SMEs, and opportunities for scaling successful solutions across European public administrations.
