The Info Day: the new ERA calls under WIDERA

The European Commission will hold an online information day on 11 December 2025 dedicated to the “Reforming and enhancing the European Research and Innovation system” calls under the WIDERA work programme. The event will form part of the Horizon Europe Info Days series and will offer a detailed introduction to the topics that will be available to applicants in the upcoming calls. 

Throughout the programme, Commission experts will present the main priorities, including open science, gender equality, improvements to the research environment, research assessment reform, citizen engagement, and other systemic tools supporting the European Research Area (ERA). The event will aim to help organisations prepare in advance for the planned calls and gain a clearer understanding of their objectives.
