High-level Conference on Mental Health

On January 26–27, 2026, a conference on mental health will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, organised by the Cypriot Ministry of Health. The event will bring together ministers, senior political representatives, experts, and other key stakeholders to discuss the European Union's experience in the field of mental health from a multi-level perspective.  

The discussion will focus on the need for a coordinated and inclusive approach to mental health policymaking at both European and international levels. Emphasis will be placed on involving young people and people with lived experience of mental illness in the shaping of public policies.
