European Universities: Call 2024 info session

European Commission opened the 5th Erasmus+ Call for proposals for the European Universities, aiming at expansion to at least 60 alliances. The 2024 Call was allocated a total budget of over 189 million euros and will support developing new alliances as well as establishing the Community of Practice.

The Call is divided into two Topics:

• Topic 1: Development of deep international interinstitutional cooperation
• Topic 2: Community of Practice for alliances

The European Commission together and EACEA are organizing an online info session on Friday 10 November 2023.

There is no call foreseen in 2025. In 2026 and 2027, calls targeting primarily already existing deep institutional transnational cooperation alliances is expected. Both of them should ensure a sustainable funding for 2 additional years, meaning up to 2028 and 2029.
