European Ocean Days 2026

From March 2–6, 2026, Brussels will host European Ocean Days, a week-long series of interconnected events focusing on key topics related to oceans, the blue economy, and the sustainable use of marine and water resources. The third edition of the event will take place in the context of the preparations for the European Pact for the Oceans and will provide a space for joint discussion on the competitiveness, security, and sustainability of the oceans.

The program will bring together industry, startups, investors, research communities, policymakers, fisheries and aquaculture, coastal regions, civil society, and the younger generation. Participants will take part in panel discussions, workshops, consultations, and community events focused on innovation, research, investment, and the implementation of European initiatives, including the Mission to Restore Our Oceans and Waters.

The week will include BlueInvest theme days, the Mission Ocean and Waters Forum, stakeholder consultations on European research and innovation strategies, discussions on the blue economy, maritime safety, and coastal communities, as well as an accompanying interactive exhibition dedicated to the European Digital Twin of the Ocean.
