EU Access to Space Conference

On 23 September 2026, the second annual EU Access to Space Conference, organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), will take place in Brussels. The event will bring together representatives of the European space sector and will focus on practical steps to strengthen European access to space. Discussions will focus in particular on aggregating institutional demand for launch vehicles, supporting innovation in new launch systems, and developing critical ground infrastructure to ensure safe, resilient and cost-effective access to space. The conference will be held in person; registration is open until 24 August 2026 or until capacity is reached.
