Defence Innovation Day 2026

On 21 September 2026, Defence Innovation Day 2026 will take place in Tallinn, Estonia. This opening event of Estonian Defence Week will focus on the latest trends in defence innovation and dual-use technologies. The programme will feature discussions on the implementation of innovations in defence practice, lessons learnt from the war in Ukraine, and the use of technology for border protection, critical infrastructure, and the strengthening of societal resilience. The event will include panel discussions with representatives from NATO, public administration, and industry, presentations by start-ups participating in the NATO DIANA Estonia accelerator, and opportunities for networking among companies, investors, and representatives of the defence sector. Attendance is free of charge, but subject to prior approval by the organisers.
