Conference on Advancement of Treatments for Rare Diseases

A conference focused on the development of treatments for rare diseases will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, on March 4–6, 2026. The event is organised by the Cypriot Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy in collaboration with the Institute of Neurology and Genetics, and its goal is to strengthen cooperation, promote innovation, and accelerate developments in the field of care for patients with rare diseases.  

The program will focus on improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of rare diseases and promoting excellence and synergies in European research and innovation. The conference will also contribute to the ambition to make Europe a global centre for life sciences and biomedicine by 2030.
