The "Tour des Capitales" campaign is underway to promote the principles of knowledge valorization

As part of the campaign, the opening conference"Awareness Raising Campaign on Knowledge Valorisation" will take place in Prague.

Following on the Council Recommendation on the Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation that was adopted during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union on 2 December 2022, the European Commission published two Codes of Practice to support the Council Recommendation.

In line with it, the European Commission is launching the awareness campaign "Tour des Capitales", which is aimed at promoting the principles of knowledge valorization and aims to raise awareness of this issue. The campaign should also open and encourage debate on, for example, how to effectively translate research findings into products, services and policies.

As part of the campaign, the opening conference "Awareness Raising Campaign on Knowledge Valorisation" will take place in Prague, as the Czech Republic became the first hosting country. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research, the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the General Directorate of the European Commission for Research and Innovation and will take place on April 18 in the Professional House (Profesní dům) on Malostranské náměstí. The Code of Practice on the Management of Intellectual Assets is intended for all actors in the field of research and innovation and aims to increase the impact of results on research and innovative technologies and at the same time accelerate the use of knowledge.

The Code of Practice on Standardisation is intended for all actors in the field of research and innovation at various stages of technological readiness (from terminology and concepts to testing and interoperability).
