Join the Expert Group Shaping the Future of Horizon Europe

The EC is looking for 15 experts to produce recommendations for the 2028-2034 framework programme.

The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission has launched a Call for Applications for the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe. This group aims to provide strategic recommendations on maximizing the impact of EU Research and Innovation programs, based on the findings of the Horizon Europe interim evaluation. 

The Commission is seeking up to 15 highly qualified professionals to become members of this expert group. The group's tasks will include assessing the progress of Horizon Europe, its alignment with EU policy objectives, and its coherence with other EU and Member State programs. Members will be expected to attend meetings, actively contribute to discussions, and engage in preparatory work. The group will produce reports and recommendations that will guide the development of the next Framework Programme (2028-2034). 

Selected members will be appointed for up to 16 months. The application deadline is June 20, 2023. Detailed information on the selection process and more can be found at the EC website.
