European Innovation Council Work Programme 2021 published

On 18 March 2021 has been published the work programme for the European Innovation Council (EIC) for 2021, this programme comes with a budget of around 10 billion EUR for the period of 2021–2027. More than 1,5 billion EUR is aimed for 2021, 3 billion EUR from the whole budget goes to the EIC Fund. The main objective of the EIC is to support high risk breakthrough and breakthrough innovations (technological and not technological ones) with the potential to create new markets and bridge the funding gap thanks to a wider range of tools of venture financing. The support of the EIC is based on a bottom-up approach and is intended for individual applicants and multidisciplinary consortia of researchers.
