€7 billion available for key infrastructure projects under the Connecting Europe Facility

Connecting Europe Facility has launched a significant call for projects aimed at bolstering the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). This initiative seeks to enhance and expand European transport infrastructure, contributing to the EU's commitment to reducing transport emissions by 90% before 2050. The ultimate goal is to create an efficient, multimodal network that caters to both passengers and freight, emphasizing affordability, reliability, and performance.

This funding opportunity encompasses a wide range of areas within the Core and Comprehensive TEN-T networks:

  • Inland Waterways
  • Maritime and Inland Ports
  • Road Safety
  • Rail-Road Terminals
  • Multimodal Logistics Platforms
  • Multimodal Passenger Hubs
  • Smart and Interoperable Applications for Transport
  • Safe and Secure Mobility
  • Infrastructure Resilience.
