The research was carried out by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS), a semi-budgetary organisation under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Czechia (MEYS), in co-operation with higher education institutions in accordance with the Internationalisation Strategy for the period from 2021 1 and as part of implementing the Strategic Plan for the Higher Education Sector for 2023 and 2024 2. In addition, the research is in line with the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Czech Export Strategy for the period 2023–2033 3, which emphasises the importance of international cooperation and of attracting skilled international staff.
