In addition to the fair, workshops and lectures, the festival will also run a traditional open day. It will be held on Saturday, March 26 and will be free to enter. You can register on the festival website. The festival will take place at the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague in Vysočany. The conference centre is located in the Fénix Shopping Gallery complex.

Over 400 teachers from 30 European countries as well as Kazakhstan and Canada will introduce their school projects, experiments and innovations in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). The teachers will present at more than 200 stalls in seven categories which reflect current education and social trends: Science for the Youngest, Sustainable Development Goals in Education, Technologies in STEM Education, Diversity in STEAM Education, STEM with Arts, Collaboration in STEM Education, Joint Projects of Teachers involved in Science on Stage. Each topic had its patron. The Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS) has joined organisations and companies such as Albi, GasNet, CZC, Endowment Fund Eduzměna, GZ Media a Roche and became one of the patrons of this event.

As a part of the Joint Projects of Teachers involved in the Science on Stage section, we have prepared a workshop, available to visitors on the open day. It will be led by Pavla Šabatková, Head of Mobilities and Projects in School Education Unit in DZS, as well as Petra Boháčková, the ambassador of The Future Classroom Lab initiative. We will talk about the international collaboration in STEM subjects in the online space. It will run from 15:15 and end at 16:05.

Science on Stage (SonS) is an international platform that brings together teachers of STEM educators, be it primary school, secondary school or kindergarten teachers, from primarily European countries.
