The long-awaited new version of the annotated grant agreement

The updated draft document is now available on the Funding and Tenders portal in the "Reference documents" section.

The European Commission has published an updated version of the pre-draft Annotated Model Grant Agreement for Horizon Europe.

This version has been updated with significant changes to Articles 1-12 and 20. Novelties in the area of open access to research publications are, for example, direct references to the Journal Checker Tool, the Directory of Open Access, or Open Research Europe. Other novelties are related to publication fees, which may now include peer review fees or reference three categories of trusted repositories that may overlap.

In terms of research data management, the AGA recommends maintaining data available for a substantial period - at least five years, but preferably 10 years or more.
