European Commission has published a new report on "Horizon Europe and New European Bauhaus NEXUS report”

Publication contains several recommendations aimed at promoting the values of sustainability, inclusion and beauty.

Document elaborates on the results from a workshop that took place on 20 November 2021 and was organized by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and the Joint Research Center. The workshop brought together experts in design, climate, energy, architecture and other stakeholders to discuss the forward-looking research and innovation agenda of the New European Bauhaus initiative. 

Publication contains several recommendations aimed at promoting the values of sustainability, inclusion and beauty of the New European Bauhaus. These recommendations are based on the current and future thematic and time frameworks of Horizon Europe. The report also focuses on opportunities for the funding period 2021-2022, medium-term objectives for the period 2023-2024 and long-term actions after 2024, which are intended to reflect the transdisciplinary vision of the initiative. Finally, the publication contains a roadmap with strategic priorities that describe a possible way forward for European society and offers a solution to the climate crisis together with global partners.
