The Commission launched new call for tenders in the field of sport

New call for tenders Support to the Development of Harmonised Sport Statistics in the EU is open until 13 September.

General objective of the new Support to the Development of Harmonised Sport Statistics in the EU call for tenders is to foster harmonizing of existing methodologies and definitions on sport statistics, paving the way towards a possible future European Sport Satellite Account.

The specific objectives include the set-up of a Task Force to cooperate with Eurostat, providing technical support to national efforts to develop national Sport Satellite Accounts and contributing to the EU and national policy-making process by providing background information and analysis on specific topics using sport statistics on economic and social aspects.
