Among Others

General Information

Intercultural competence is becoming one of the most valuable skills in today's world. This is the focus of the Among Others project. Funded by the Erasmus+ program, this project offers universities courses led by non-formal methods, providing students the opportunity to develop their ability to function meaningfully and effectively in an intercultural environment. The project is implemented as a course titled Development of Intercultural Competences, taught at selected universities and coordinated by the team of non-formal youth and sport education within the DZS. Trainers collaborate with universities on the content and preparation of the course. The course is designed for bachelor's degree students in the Czech language and for master's degree students in English. In the past, this course has been offered at Charles University, the University of Hradec Králové, Masaryk University in Brno, and others.
