What are the programme’s objectives?

The purpose of European Schools is to provide education to the children of the staff of EU institutions, permanent representations and other agencies.

Education at European Schools is free of charge for these children and for the children of the school’s teachers and administrative staff. European Schools may also be attended by the children of staff of private companies under contracts concluded with the Board of Governors of the European Schools. In this case, the private companies pay tuition fees at an agreed contractual amount.
