EEA Grants

EEA Grants support study visits and project co-operation with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. DZS operates for schools the Programme Education in the third phase of EEA Grants 2014 – 2021.

Institutional cooperation projects

Strengthened institutional cooperation at all levels of education, with a special focus on democracy and citizenship education

Institutional cooperation projects between Czech and donor state institutions at all levels of education aim

  • to modernise or innovate the curricula through development of the joint study programmes and courses or
  • to support the development and transfer of innovative practices through peer learning and exchange of good practice in the field of teaching methodologies.

Projects are expected to produce intellectual outputs (e.g. curriculum, teaching material, learning resources, studies, workshop or training). Prioritized topics are democracy, citizenship and inclusive education.

As eligible project applicants (project promoters) are considered Czech pre-primary, primary and secondary schools listed in the register of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and Czech higher education institutions possessing an ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education).

As eligible project partner is considered any legal entity established in the Donors States or in the Czech Republic. Legal entities from other Beneficiary States of the EEA Grants may participate as a non-financed partner.
