Dear CEEPUS II scholarshipholder,
the National CEEPUS Office of the Czech Republic is pleased that you were awarded (on the www.ceepus.info) a scholarship in the framework of the CEEPUS Programme. On request, you can receive the Award also signed from NCO-CZ).
The Acceptance and Obligations of a CEEPUS Scholarship Holder:
Please, make sure that you have accepted your stay using the ACCEPT button on your desktop, and keep a copy of Obligations (it can be found at www.ceepus.info, FAQs ) for your own information. Follow please all the points of Obligations including those on the visa and the health insurance.
Concerning the medical insurance in the Czech Republic, the citizens of the EU member states with a European health insurance card have a claim on free health care (on request, they can receive the CEEPUS medical care card from the NCO-CZ as the citizens of EU non-member state do). Citizens of EU non-member states are requested to collect a medical care card and a letter informing a doctor here in the Czech Republic – staying in Prague, in the National CEEPUS Office, and staying in other towns, at the host institution. These documents cannot be sent by post. From 2010 year, we have a new regulations on the health insurance for foreigners staying in the Czech Republic more than 90 days: they have to have the medical insurance for the visa application: on the Czech health insurance company that is eligible for this insurance, you will receive more information on our Embassy.
For further information concerning visa necessary for your scholarship stay in the Czech Republic, contact please the Czech Embassy in your country. You can find the information also on the http://www.czech.cz address.
Please, contact your CEEPUS coordinator/partner of your host institution two weeks before your departure at the latest – otherwise we cannot ensure your accommodation. Contact this person at the host university also concerning your programme and the scholarship payment.
