EEA and Norway Grants

EEA and Norway Grants Bilateral Scholarship Programme brings opportunity for international project cooperation and mobilities in Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

About the programme

Bilateral Scholarhip Programme  (CZ07) was in the second period (2009-2014) one of the 15 implemented EEA and Norway grants programmes in the Czech Republic. Its main objective is reducing socio-economic disparities in Europe and strengthening bilateral relations between Czech educational institutions and educational institutions in the three donor states. Overall, the cooperation of schools earmarked more than 4 million euros. Two types of activities were supported – Mobility projects and placements and Institutional cooperation projects. Representatives of the technical and natural sciences were included, as well as the humanities. Projects of primary and secondary schools were implemented as well.

The objectives of CZ07 were support of human capital and know-how in the Czech republic and strengthening bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and donor states. The bilateral cooperation was an importat part of the programme.  The emphasis was put on establishing and strengthening other contacts, sharing and transfer of knowledge, experience, technology and good practice. The program thus contributed not only to the internationalization of the universities involved, but also to the personal and professional development of the individual participants.
